Five degrees of language competency

Proficiency Levels are following:

0 – No Proficiency: At this lowest proficiency level, there is essentially no language understanding. Though they are unable to form sentences or engage in any kind of discourse, they may know a few words.
1. First-Class Competence
A person can ask and respond to simple questions at this level of language ability. They can also create simple sentences. In a sense, here is where the language proficiency levels begin. This level corresponds to a beginner language learner who is visiting a foreign nation. Here it’s important to mention most of students come for level 1 and they improve very fast because of well designed English Language Intensive course. Please view here details

2. Limited Ability to Work
This level of proficiency allows one to manage simple work orders and social words. They are able to discuss their personal lives and engage in brief informal chats at work. Even at this level, assistance with longer-form language discussions is still required. They are limited to conducting simple talks on their own.

3. Expertise in Operational Skills
This degree of language competency allows a person to participate in office discussions, speak with clients, and complete the majority of tasks that are assigned to them. A speaker at level 3 can converse in the language at a typical pace and has a respectably large vocabulary. At this point, they probably still have an accent and need assistance comprehending complex and nuanced language. Depending on the particular profession, some employers deem this level or higher to be essentially appropriate.

4- Complete Professional Expertise
Most employers want full fluency in their field. At this level, a person can hold sophisticated conversations about a broad range of subjects, including current affairs, personal lives, and technical subjects like business and finance. Individuals at this level might occasionally mispronounce words or make small errors, and they might still have a slight accent. They have a large vocabulary and are able to converse easily. The majority of employers view level 4 or higher as appropriate.

5-Native or Bilingual Linguistic Ability
A person with this degree of language ability either grew up speaking the language as their first language or has spoken it for so long that they are fluent in it. They don’t have any accent at all.
