IELTS Academic Reading

There are three components in this 60-minute program. There are 10 to 17 questions in each part, for a total of 40 questions. Over the test, the difficulty of the questions increases.

Information about IELTS Academic Reading: Sources for texts include books, journals, newspapers, periodicals, and websites that provide academic content for a general audience.
Total word count for all three sections is between 2,150 and 2,750.
There could include graphs, charts, pictures, or other nonverbal content in one of the parts.
If there are any unfamiliar or specialized terms in the text, a glossary will be provided at the conclusion.

IELTS Academic Reading scoring system: One point is awarded for each of the forty questions. You may obtain a score for the Reading Section ranging from 0 to 9 points, depending on how many points you earn.
